Niasha teams up with Helen & Troy Larmain to make history with a new song titled Kutanga Patsva

Niasha Elijah Mawere, commonly known to us as Niasha, is a multi-talented Zimbabwean musician, DJ, record executive, songwriter, record producer, blogger, and South African-based founder of a record label named Revamp Entertainment.In Tshabalala, a high-density suburb in Zimbabwe’s second-largest city of Bulawayo, the Messiah of hit songs, as he says, was born. Since 2012, after moving from Zimbabwe, he is currently living in South Africa and he has been focusing on developing his music career and opening doors for potential artists as well.

Niasha becomes the first-ever artist to release 5 different genres in a space of 11 months in Zimbabwe, His first single Was a dancehall song titled Baddah Dan Dem which dropped in early January featuring award winners from Jamaica (Nackiss), Liberia (Faith Vonic), Ghana(Klarah Kay) & Canada ( Diiverse).

A month later, just before the lockdown began in March, he released a Hip Hop hit song titled “Hustle” featuring a US-based artist and a well-known Durban-based artist Ydb.

The Messiah released another banger this time, Gqom “Amen” was a hit song that still rocks some of the South African radio stations featuring Twins Of Lights and Bryan Churchboi. It’s three singles in three months.

A few months later, he comes back with another song featuring USA-based vocalist Lukeix, Kid Spookey, Mkay all from City of Kings, which is being played on U.S. radio stations today. The title of the song is No Games ReUp”

Niasha said he feels like foreign-based artists are not well recognized, talking to the fuseMag, I make sure I submit every song I release before I send it to other countries and we get more plays than our mother land in foreign lands. We must all be handled fairly when it comes to airplays, no matter where we are located, he added.

Last month, Niasha launched Amapiano Gospel titled Almighty God featuring Fresh The Charmer from Rusape, who had just moved to South Africa a few weeks earlier.

The Almighty God is the fourth genre to be published by Niasha.

Today, Niasha is the first artist ever to be born in Bulawayo to release five different genres in months.

Ah, Helen. She started to play a remarkable role in developing a career in the entertainment industry at just 19 years of age.

Tadiwa Helen Nyati, or better known by her stage name; Helen is a multi-genre Zimbabwean artist (singer, songwriter…) who crawled into the music scene in 2018 with her debut song Life, which played a key role in making Helen realize her music calling. Reactions to her debut song from fanatics forced the artist to record and drop more singles that include Amai’s heart warming.
