Natasha Muz is back with Juzi Reply. Blaqu beats produced the track.
Love is for two people, not just one… It does not imply that you are going through a difficult period. The other isn’t, thus we should know that both sides are keeping score.
It’s a 50/50 chance… The juzi response sums it up perfectly.
Juzi, a hit track, has recently taken social media by storm, amassing an astounding 185,144 views on YouTube since its premiere on February 9th, a feat that few local artists have accomplished.
The musician behind the emotional hit single is a 24-year-old upcoming artist from Rugare known as Kae Chaps, real name Kudakwashe Chapepa, who said a breakup with ex-girlfriend hurt him badly and inspired him to sing the song.
He said his girlfriend of five months left a pink jersey at his house and each time he looks at the jersey he is reminded of the pain the breakup is causing him.
I recorded the song two weeks ago on a Friday, after being inspired by my breakup with my girlfriend whom I have dated for five months, he said.
The vocally talented musician said after his ex-girlfriend listened to the song she called him trying to make amends but he played down her advances.
We spoke for a while, and she was interested and trying to act as everything was normal, but I told her, I am no longer playing that. I have moved on. I am no longer seeing her the same way as before, he said.
He said the song took him a day to write and wanted to express himself through the song.
Kae Chaps revealed that he wrote the song in a single day and the way he expressed himself on the viral music video was a true reflection of how he felt when his ex broke up with him.
He expressed shock and disbelief at the way the song went viral after the day it was uploaded on Youtube.
It was already on 11 000 hits and I was shocked. I am happy how big artists are even endorsing the song.
The song is emotional and it speaks my heart. I was depressed. I had other heartbreaks before, but this one was very strong as it hit me hard. I later accepted fate and started 2021 on a new note, said Kae Chaps.
The 24-year-old rising star said after writing the lyrics and composing the song he got in touch with DJ Futronic who produced a beat to the song.
- I had to find a proper beat for the words I had written and my producer Dj Futronic of Y-Not Media did a sterling job. The video was shot by Malvern Njewa, he said.
