Justin Bieber has released his Justice project, a 16-track collection featuring Burna Boy, BEAM, Chance The Rapper, and The Kid LAROI.
Giveon and Daniel Caesar-assisted “Peaches” single, which went viral on social media ahead of the official project drop, was an early fan favorite even before the project dropped. The single is accompanied by a colorful music video, and the song is an ode to various parts of the United States, with Georgia and its popular peaches serving as the central image:
I got my peaches out in Georgia (Oh, yeah, shit)/ I get my weed from California (That’s that shit) I took my chick up to the North, yeah (Bad-ass bitch)/ I get my light right from the source, yeah (Yeah, that’s it)/ And I see you, the way I breathe you in. It’s the texture of your skin/ I wanna wrap my arms around you, baby, never let you go, oh. And I say, oh, there’s nothing like your touch/ It’s the way you lift me up. Yeah, and I’ll be right here with you ‘til the end of time
Giveon recently released a repackaged version of his first two EPs titled When It’s All Said And Done… Take Time, in which he expressed his appreciation for his journey thus far. When It’s All Said And Done, released in October, was R&B’s new favorite. Following his vocals on Drake’s “Chicago Freestyle” and the release of his own breakthrough single “Like I Want You,” Giveon was thrust into the spotlight after a few years of quietly releasing original music. He has just released a video for “Heartbreak Anniversary,” one of his fan favorites.
CASE STUDY 01, Daniel Caesar’s most recent film, featured coveted features from Brandy, Pharrell Williams, and John Mayor. Before that, he released the critically acclaimed Freudian project, a well-loved collection of songs that includes the hits “Best Part” and “Get You.”
