You could be in for a treat if you’re a fan of Drake and Rick Ross‘ recent collaborations, including the bars-heavy “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” that dropped last night. The two famous rappers are currently working on a collaboration album, according to Chad Ochocinco.
Drake and Rick Ross are on a roll, launching some wild collaborations over the last few years after years of restricting their work together due to industry politics. They may have been stifled during Drake’s feud with Meek Mill, which forced Rozay to take a back seat, but they make up for it on the 6-minute “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” which many are calling one of Drake’s best-ever verses.
When the famous RapCaviar account asked fans for their favorite collaboration, Chad Ochocinco responded with a pretty telling answer, apparently confirming that Drake and Ross are working on a full album together.
“The joint album they’re doing together will unseat all projects they’ve done to date,” the former NFL player said, fueling rumors that the pair will release a tape before Certified Lover Boy. Elliott Wilson, a music journalist, also weighed in on the subject, saying that he’s fine with having CLB in the fall if it means we get a Drake x Rozay tape sooner.
What are your thoughts on this? Would you be okay with waiting even longer for Certified Lover Boy to drop if we got a full album from Drake and Rick Ross? Let us know in the comments.
