Midweek Chibuku Super Cup treats on cards.

Football fans are set to be sent into a frenzy as the country’s biggest football tournament returns for matchday 3 on Wednesday and Thursday with mouthwatering fixtures on the cards.

On Wednesday Harare City go up against Yadah in the early kickoff (11 am). Both clubs have not been living up to the billing as the Sunshine City Boys were held to a 1- all draw by Caps United over the weekend, their second consecutive draw in the tournament. Yadah were at the receiving end as they were thumped 4-0 by Dynamos in a match that produced 2 contenders for the goal of the tournament.

Later that day (3 pm), Herentals host Caps United. With both clubs still to collect maximum points in the Chibuku Super Cup. Both clubs played in entertaining stalemates over the weekend.

On Thursday, Dynamos have a lunchtime date with ZPC Kariba. Both clubs go into this one hoping to carry the impressive form they had over the weekend.

Across town in Zvishavane, Whawha faces Triangle in a “battle of the weeping boys” as both clubs have not picked up any points in the first 2 matches since the start of the tournament.

At 3 pm battle lines will be drawn when table-toppers FC PLATINUM square off against Ngezi Platinum Stars. These two sides have been in stellar form and fans are in for a treat of entertaining football.
