Cardi B is turning her dreams into reality. The “WAP” rapper, who announced on Monday (Feb. 1) that she’s dropping a new tune Friday, has transformed the art from the upcoming single into a real-life outfit.
And it’s a slinky one at that. The “Up” illustration features Cardi swinging from a clear half bubble while dressed in a pink barely there outfit that is by far more skin than fabric. In an Instagram video Tuesday, Cardi is wearing the real-life version of that costume.
“This outfit was all sticker on,” Billboard‘s 2020 Woman of the Year explained in the caption for the video, which shows the rapper gently gyrating in front of a mirror as she shows off the uber revealing metallic pink outfit that sparkles and dangles. “UP OUT FRIDAY !! Though fans are digging the video — which had nearly 9.5 million views three hours after she shared it — her husband may be enjoying it most. “DAMMNNNN LIL MAMA,” rapper Offset, with whom Cardi shares daughter Kulture, commented on the post. He also included three heart-eye emojis and two more alluding to something more adult to show his appreciation for his wife’s sexy outfit.
Ahead of her latest seductive getup and the announcement of “Up,” Cardi teased that something special was coming this week — in another sultry look. “I got a announcement to make tomorrow,” she captioned a Jan. 31 video of herself in a black bikini and long denim coat.
